Another side to the story...

With all the headlines and reports surrounding political candidates and their aspirations to rule, the stories from the very people on the ground tend to go amiss, lost in a bar or under tree.

These stories matter as much if not more than what the candidates say.  The bigger question is what the  wananchi say about the electoral process, how is it affecting our lives, what hope and dreams we have in our aspiring candidates and what happens right in our immediate home in relation to the national elections.

This section is dedicated to Kenyan voices from all around the country. Our webbloggers are reporting directly from their province on issues surrounding the upcoming elections and you can participate by reading what they have to say and leaving your comments and opinions.

8 writers from Rift Valley, Eastern, Western, Nyanza, Central, Coast, North Eastern and Nairobi were carefully selected based on their knowledge of their region in order to report to the rest of us around the country. Blogs about what is happening right on the ground and how the elections are affecting their people. Hear what others have to say and why!
